There was a lot of love about Barberry Lane despite the fact that it is a total fixer upper.
The nice thing about Eichler home's is that they bring the outdoors inside. Large floor to ceiling windows make this 1700 square foot house feel much larger than it is. The exposed beams were a huge selling point for me, especially considering one of the other houses we put an offer on had popcorn on the ceiling instead. We purchased Barberry Lane from the second owners and almost everything inside the house was untouched including the retro fireplace and awesome globe lights.
I love the mid-century modern elements of this house and I cannot wait to restore it to a more updated version of itself!
